Namen predloga projekta ExplorEdu je vzpostaviti spletno storitev za avtomatski zajem, strukturiranje in analizo vseh relevantnih podatkov in informacij odprtega izobraževanja ter mobilne kliente za kontestualno pregledovanje, usmerjeno spreminjanje in pol-avtomatsko krerianje prosto dostopnih izobraževalnih modulov za potrebe ciljnih skupin učiteljev, vodji usposabljanja, profesorjev, učencev ter raziskovalcev. ExplorEdu spletne storitve bodo predstavljale temeljne tehnologije, ki bodo uporabljene v obstoječih infromacijskih storitvah kot sta npr. SIO in ScienceAtlas, OpeningupSlovenia (http://www.ouslovenia.net/) portalu ter kot osnova storitvi UNESCO katedre odprtih tehnologij za prosto dostopne učne vire in odprto učenje. ExplorEdu mobilne aplikacije bodo služile kot osnova za kontekstualno in usmerjeno preiskovanje ter pol-avtomatsko strukturiranje odprtih izobraževalnih modulov. Uporabljene tehnologije in rešitve bodo temeljile na obstoječih odprtih storitvah, ki so bile razvite na IJS in ki so del aplikacij kot so: http://newsfeed.ijs.si, http://enrycher.ijs.si, http://eventregistry.org, http://searchpoint.ijs.si, http://scienceatlas.si, iDiversiNews (App Store) in http://videolectures.net.
ExplorEdu bo:
- omogočal odprt dostop do vseh zbranih prosto dostopnih učnih virov različnih modalnosti (tekstovni, numerični, video, grafi, strukturirano znanje)
- ponujal vrsto inovativnih storitev na bazi semantičnih tehnologij za celovito empirično analizo slovenskih prosto dostopnih učnih virov kot poglobljena iskanja po tekstu in videih, analizo dogajanja v slovenskem izobraževalnem okolju, vključno s kompetenčnimi grafi, sodelovalnimi grafi, predikcijami, trendi in simulacijami, ter orodja za zajemanje, sestavljanje, ponovno uporabo in optimizacijo izobraževalnih vsebin
- bo omogočala dvosmerne prenose podatkov med obstoječimi storitvami kot so SIO baza podatkov (z domačimi izobrazevalnimi podatki),
- bo omogočal povezovanje med podatkovnimi bazami članic iniciative OpeningupSlovenia, VideoLectures.Net, scienceatlas.si in ist-world.org,
- bo omogočala odprt dostop do storitev drugim spletnim portalom kot npr. portal SIO, portali izobraževalnih institucij, portali razvojnih oddelkov ipd. s ciljem širše promocije slovenskih prosto dostopnih učnih vsebin.
Glavni cilj projekta je vzpostavitev enotnega sistema za enostaven in odprt dostop do prosto dostopnih učnih virov in podatkov s ciljem centralizacije materialov in spodbujanja novih idej, sodelovanja med domačimi izobraževalci, institucijami in industrijo, promocije izobrazevalnih vsebin in dosežkov doma in v tujini ter vzpostavljanje kreativnih okolij na področju inovativne in intenzivne uporabe IKT v izobraževalnih procesih. Prijava projekta poteka v okviru iniciative OpeningupSlovenia in sledi komunikeju »Opening up Education«.
Glavni tehnični cilj projekta je izdelati spletno in mobilno aplikacijo, ki bo omogočala naslednje glavne funkcionalnosti:
- stalen uvoz/izvoz podatkov iz relevantnih baz (podrobneje naštetih v naslednjih sekcijah) preko vmesnikov,
- čiščenje in povezovanje baz podatkov, analizo in agregiranje podatkov z modernimi analitskimi metodami,
- interaktiven vmesnik za sprotno analizo podatkov,
- učinkovitost (skalabilnost) rešitve v smislu obdelave velike količine podatkov,
- omogočen podroben vpogled v različne vidike izobraževalnih virov,
- instalacijo sistema oz. delov sistema na institucijah za kreiranje izobraževalne politike v Sloveniji in v perspektivi tudi v svetu.
Glavna vsebinska cilja projekta sta dva:
- zajemanje, priprava in klasificiranje obstoječih tipov vsebin (formalne, motivacijske, izobraževalne),
- priprava končne analize in študije možnih obstoječih modelov za popularizacijo, agregiranje, oplemenitenje prosto dostopnih učnih virov v širši skupnosti, kjer bomo na osnovi analiz obnašanja posameznikov na novem in obstoječih dveh portalih skušali razviti učinkovite modele.
Rezultati projekta bodo:
- spletne storitve s funkcionalnostmi:
o zajem, čiščenje in konsolidacija podatkov in vsebin,
o bogatenje vsebin s kontekstualnimi podatki,
o strukturiranje in urejanje vsebin,
o semantično podprtega preiskovanja vsebin,
o analitska orodja za:
o analizo društvenih omrežij in besedil skozi čas,
o iskanje, zajemanje in prikaz slovenskih prosto dostopnih ucnih virov,
o računanje in analizo vsebin posameznikov, organizacij,
o sprotno analizo izobrazevanja, izobrazevalnih vsebin in sorodnih procesov,
o vpogled in vzpostavljanje preglednosti delovanja in razvoja slovenskega odprtega izobrazevanja,
o pripravo publikacij na temo empirične analize slovenskega odprtega izobrazevanja,
o orodja za pomoč pri iskanju ustreznih vsebin in izračun najbolj optimalne uporabe, - vmesniki za dostop do vsebin ter za izmenjavo podatkov med obstoječimi bazami odprtih virov v Sloveniji,
- odprte storitve (npr. za potrebe MIZS) za analizo drugih (ne nujno slovenskih) podatkov o prosto dostopnih učnih virih, bibliografskih baz, baz projektov itd.,
- mobilna aplikacija za Android in iOS za pregledovanje, preiskovanje in analizo vsebin povezanih z odprtim izobraževanjem,
- izdelana končna analiza in študije potencialnih novih modelov promocije slovenskih izobraževalcev z vseh ravni izobraževanja in vseh sektorjev na osnovi analize obnašanja uporabnikov na razvitem spletnem portalu,
- uproraba licence GNU LGPL (osnovne rešitve že uporabljajo licenco)

Vsebina: The main objective of the two-year ISME project is development and pilot implementation as well as evaluation and dissemination of a postgraduate study module, covering the topics related to information systems and multimedia as well as subject-related management in education. The module was developed within a joint effort of the project partners (the coordinator – Faculty of Management Koper, University of Primorska; partner Maria Curie-Sklodowska University; and partner Varna University of Economics), and under inclusion of possible employment partners (the National School for Leadership in Education). They first identified its individual elements such as needs, goals, methods etc. Then the module was implemented (piloted) within the coordinating institution’s 2008 Summer School. According to the student feedback and evaluation, final fine tuning of the module will be performed by the project group, along with valorisation as well as further dissemination in the context of employment. The module was not only to be jointly developed but also performed partly within an ICT- and multimedia-based learning environment for cooperative learning. The project activities include: 1. Individual and joint needs analysis, context and end-user research including the involvement of employment partners, 2. Joint course and module development, joint development of teaching methods, evaluation processes and quality assurance, 3. Dissemination of module structure, material and implementation methods and 4. Evaluation and dissemination of good practice. |

Vsebina: Spletno učno mesto za gluhe in naglušne “Kako do zaposlitve?” zajema različne sisteme,
ki omogočajo posredovanje e-gradiva in komunikacijo med udeleženci. Spletno učno mesto za gluhe in naglušne je oblikovano v posebej prilagojenem spletnem učnem okolju Moodle, s čimer se je povečala enostavnost in stabilnost uporabe sistema. Uporabniki dostopajo do šestih poglavij, ki zajemajo nasvete za iskanje zaposlitve, kako napisati prijavo, prošnjo in življenjepis ter kako uporabljati spletne strani Zavoda RS za zaposlovanje. Vsa poglavja vsebujejo vsebino, prevedeno v slovenski znakovni jezik, vaje, kvize ter domače naloge. Za potrebe komunikacije se lahko izvajajo klasična klepetalnica, videoforum, kjer lahko uporabniki posnamejo same sebe in tako odgovarjajo v znakovnem jeziku, ter videokonferenčni sistem, preveden v slovenski jezik. |

Vsebina: The ADRIART project developed an international master study programme in contemporary arts and applied practices MAP – Media Arts and Practices, aiming at the areas of audio-visual arts (film, animation, photography), inter-media arts (spatial, new-media, trans-media) as well as (historical, theoretical, critical) arts discourses. The complete two-year implementation cycle was strongly focused on short location-specific mobility runs and promoted participation of best mentors and students from the region and around the world. Among four countries and in five languages the programme discussed site-specific (demographical, social, cultural, ecological, migratory etc.) topics in interdisciplinary ways, while stimulating multi-cultural academic exchange and graduates’ development towards self-sustainability. A pilot run of the MAP programme at UNG Gorica, Slovenia has started in October 2012, and in October 2013 at APU Rijeka, Croatia. The programme is now runnningfully at these two locations with Adjoining Courses at Graz University of Technology and University of Udine. |

Vsebina: An EU-funded project to develop technology to monitor and aggregate knowledge that is currently spread across mainstream and social media, and to enable cross-lingual services for publishers, media monitoring and business intelligence. The aim is to combine scientific insights from several scientific areas to contribute in the area of cross-lingual text understanding. By combining modern computational linguistics, machine learning, text mining and semantic technologies we plan to deal with the following two key open research problems 1) to extract and integrate formal knowledge from multilingual texts with cross-lingual knowledge bases, and 2) to adapt linguistic techniques and crowdsourcing to deal with irregularities in informal language used primarily in social media. Vsebina: In this paper we present the Edoo initiative that aims for increased involvement of teachers in the process of e-learning materials creation. Its main goal is to connect two distinct communities – teachers as users of e-learning materials and programmers as creators of e-learning materials – through the online portal and learning site designed for sup port and collaboration. The goal of the initiative is to increase cooperation between the two communities, thus overcoming the domain gap between them. The idea of the initiative was well received among teachers, who are missing appropriate learning materials and lack the ability to adapt existing materials to their speci c teaching needs. We started the initiative in spring 2013, while the rst collaborative projects are being implemented in the winter semester of 2013/2014. The expected result of the initiative is the creation of quality didactic applications that teachers can use in their classes. Key competencies of the future are: critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, communication and collaboration. To become an innovative school means to start changing the pedagogic paradigm on all the levels of management as well as with the entire teaching staff with the goal that its agents become more innovative. In the article, the project “Innovative Pedagogy in the Light of the 21st Century Competencies” issued by the Ministry of Education is presented. Its dominant goal is to systematically develop the 1:1 pedagogy implementation and all the accompanying e-services, as for instance the e-portfolio, distance learning “Innovative Pedagogy Node”, the development of the implementing curricula with the integration of ICT, didactic trainings for different agents, and the development of the good practice criteria. It is important to be constantly aware that modern information technology itself does not change the way of teaching and learning. The technology must become the constituent part of culture and pedagogy which enables the shift towards student-centered teaching anywhere and anytime. |

Vsebina: Open Science Resources (OSR) was a collaborative project co-funded by the European Commission under the eContentplus programme. The project started in June 2009 and will continue for 36 months. The aim of the OSR project was to create a shared repository of scientific digital objects – previously dispersed in European science museums and science centres – to make them more widely and coherently available, searchable and usable in the context of formal and informal learning situations. Vsebina: Microsoft Academic Search was a free public search engine for academic papers and literature, developed by Microsoft Research for the purpose of algorithms research in object-level vertical search, data mining, entity linking, and data visualization. Although largely functional, the service was not intended to be a production web site and has all but been taken offline, as was originally intended when the research goals of the project had been met. According to a 2014 publication on arXiv, the service has not been updated since 2013 and seen a marked decline in the number of indexed documents since 2011.The fact that this decline has not been reported on earlier indicates to the authors that the service was largely ignored by academics and bibliometricians alike. |
